Revenue of Rs.26.1 Billion Posted by Telenor Pakistan

Highest taxpayer of telecom and tech sector, Telenor Pakistan has furnished its total revenue earned for the last quarter of the year 2017 i.e. Q4. The data released by Telenor Pakistan delineates that Rs. 26.1 billion was acquired in revenue which was little less than the amount realized in the same quarter last year that was Rs. 25.74 billion.
The growth of revenue was not so motile but certain areas which contributed heavily to the revenue earnings were, sales of handsets, increased subscription and revenue from data.
The total number of subscriptions witnessed the growth of 6 percent, taking the base figure to 42 million an increase of 0.9 million subscribers in Q4.

Telenor has aimed to utilize its potential in the expansion of 3G and 4G network against the capital expenditure (CAPEX), which will be reduced accordingly. It was also said by Telenor that 38% population was covered for 4G in the year 2017.
Network growth and increased subscriber have added into the cost pool of Telenor, but with improved efficiency operating expenditure was reduced as well.
The company also realized the gain of 20% in its EBITDA and it was only possible with the efficiency approached adopted to improve the operations. Average revenue per unit of Telenor saw a decline of Rs.5 i.e. Rs.200 per month by each subscriber against Rs.205 in the same quarter last year.
