Trump’s accusation has Raised Pakistan’s Tension with US

Trump’s accusation

Donald Trump’s accusation has escalated tension between Pakistan and Washington and both fronts are responding the claims very eloquently with an accusation of frustration and lack of transparency from both war front allies over the years. Donald Trump has blamed Islamabad for being a liar and deceit making us fools. He said we have given Pakistan $33 billion over the span of last 15 years but called it a foolish decision to grant such sum. Within an hour of this alleged accusation, foreign minister Khawaja Asif responded to Trump’s tweet that we will let know the actual reality of mere baseless allegations and facts.

The notorious Trump’s accusation has sparked serious concern particularly that it will consequently flare more tension between India and Pakistan.

Earlier Pakistan was accused of rearing military safe heavens and was responded by ISPR Chief Major Gen Asif Ghafoor that we have done enough and US must have a glance over India’s anti-Pakistan activities.

According to a private news channel, Khawaja Asif said, we will provide full fledge details of aid received by Pakistan. He advised the US to negotiate with Taliban instead of putting the peace of region on the stake as it is the only viable solution. He further added that only neighboring countries of Afghanistan can come up with productive solutions.

A proper audit will assess everything; include the reimbursement in terms of infrastructure used, roads, railway network etc.

Due to its total failure in Afghanistan, US is trying to put all responsibilities on Pakistan, it is therefore required to inquire the reasons for failure and its stakeholders.

Defence secretary of United States also said in his tweet that despite leverage to Pakistan on all fronts it just posted mistrust.

Pakistan high authorities have summoned US ambassador and recorded strong protest against Donald Trump’s tweet.
