Google Can Now Tell You Restaurant Wait Time

However, weekends are usually busy for restaurants and sometimes there is a lot of waiting time. People find it annoying. Now Google has come up with the solution and people can plan there outing accordingly.

The new feature shows the  restaurant wait time of many restaurants which will save one the trouble of waiting in big line. According to the company, the feature is coming soon on Google Search and then also on Google Maps and Android.

Google publicized in a post that the popular times feature for restaurants will analyze and display wait times at sit-down restaurants.

Google predicts the wait time feature, now going global to millions of restaurants after the update launches.

The feature works with one searching up the desired place to visit then check the popular time section and in that one can gauge the estimated wait time.

The box below will show the live or historical data labeled as “busy,” “usually busy,” “usually not busy,” etc., along with the wait time.

After launching with Android and Google Maps, Google will expand this new feature by including grocery stores also.
