Apple’s iPhone SE – $399 phone is attracting Android users
Apple is a company with greater vision, as much as they want to give their consumers what they want, they still don’t believe in making decisions based on unreal things. The last week’s event “Let us loop you in” that introduced iPhone SE proved to be a hit and instantly attracted a huge consumer base towards iPhone SE, the new iPhone model that has been successful in convincing customers to switch from Android to Apple’s iOS platform.
It is no secret that Apple has always competed against Android with their iOS looking to attract consumers. iPhone 6/6 Plus and iPhone 6s/6s Plus have been the products of the efforts of the same series by Tim Cook, to give Android users larger iPhone devices to convince them against Android with large size and Apple’s iOS.
And I believe that Apple’s efforts have been recognized in the form of iPhone SE as according to latest data iPhone SE is attracting higher rate of Android users than any previous iPhone’s model before.
Slice Intelligence early research data reveals that SE may be the game changer for Apple iPhone’s growth in consumer base. 35 per cent of people bought iPhone buyers bought SE online and out of them 16 percent were Android users previously.
In comparison with data from Apple’s previous iPhone 6s release, it seems that the $399 iPhone SE could be doing more for the cause than the current flagship managed.
By comparison, 49 percent of iPhone 6s buyers upgraded from a previous iPhone, and 10 percent replaced an Android device they bought online within the past two years.
