Pakistan Business Tycoons Team Trade Dialouge with Indians

A 20-member delegation of  leading business men of Pakistan, led by Mr. Tariq Saeed, the President of Asia  Pacific chamber of commerce and industry, left for India on Tuesday to discuss issues including bilateral trade, non-tarrif barriers and visa policy. The delegation is also scheduled to attend the wedding ceremony of daughter of Mr. Vikramjit Singh Sahney, Senior Executive Member of Federation of Indian Chamber of commerce and industries.

The delegation is optimistic regarding the outcomes of the meeting as it believes that such initiatives promote feeling of warmth and depth between the two countries. The business community of both the countries for a long time has been demanding relaxation in the visa policy and this delegation seems to be a step in the right direction. Bilateral trade between India and Pakistan apart from easing tensions will boost the economies of the two countries as well as help in elimination of poverty. As members of the SAARC, both countries are responsible for improving the livelihood of their people.

Besides bilateral trade and visa policy, the delegation also seeks cooperation in the fields of health and education.
