This move has been taken to counter the issue in which investors buy cars in advance and sell them with additional commission. People buy from other dealers because of delayed delivery time. It is a major issue in Pakistan these days.

People are excited to buy the new car but the wait decreases the value and reduces the charm of the new car.

The automobile sector has applauded the strong move by Toyota. The other automakers should follow this track too.

The Indus Motor Company (IMC) has taken action against the problems face by the customers. Toyota Pakistan has ordered the management to cancel the bookings of over 1300 cars. Furthermore, the money will be returned back to buyers.

Furthermore, the IMC has issued a list of all those Booking Numbers which they fear are ‘suspicious investors’.

It has been informed that if a person thinks his name has been added wrongly in the list, then he should contact the authorized person soon. This move is not to create hindrance for real buyers but against the suspicious buyers.

IMC insisted the brand lovers to buy the vehicles from the authorized 3S Toyota dealerships.
